BRSS Adventure Cruising

“Advanced coaching while adventure sailing!” (ASA 103 is the prerequisite, although ASA 104 is preferred)

Many of our graduates would like to put their newly acquired skills to work and gain valuable experience without the “pressures” of a certification course. Create your own float plan, experience new and exciting harbors along the New England coast, get additional practice on skills that YOU would like to improve, and learn how our staff prepare for a voyage and execute the voyage in a safe and professional manner.

The crew will “create their own adventure,” and their instructor will assist as much or as little as needed. The focus will be coaching and improving targeted skills, while letting the students gain confidence as they make critical decisions and truly run the boat on their own.

The crew will rotate between skipper, navigator, and crew – taking on a particular role for an entire day. The skipper will make all major decisions, assign duties, and run the boat. The instructor, will be there to offer advice and ensure safety.

Night sailing can be part of the experience. Experience whales off of Provincetown, visit the Isles of Shoals, pull into Portsmouth, NH. Anything is a possibility!
