Having returned to our roots and core values, Black Rock has evolved back into a boutique sailing school, offering customized sail training solutions to clients along the entire US East Coast and Caribbean.
Because of this, we can no longer offer online booking, and ALL certification courses and sail training sessions are booked by telephone.

BOOKING AN AMERICAN SAILING 104 BAREBOAT CRUISING
CERTIFICATION COURSE

- Available June 1st through Columbus Day weekend in October
- Offered at our Warwick, RI location aboard our Beneteau 40 – OR aboard your private vessel in your home port!
- We start a class with two students, and close it at three (or four if a private class, and we add an additional day).
- This LIVE ABOARD course is held over four consecutive days – either Monday through Thursday OR Thursday through Sunday.
- If there are only two students, we condense this class into three consecutive days. Additional days are available at a per diem rate.
- We live aboard the boat the entire class, and anchor/moor in different harbors each night.
- Class runs from 10am on day one, to 6pm on day four. There is a two+ hour lecture each morning, followed by a lunch break, and then approximately five hours of practical and sailing every afternoon.
- Back to back 103/104 combination courses are available Mon – Sun during the summer season aboard our boat or yours.
- Year round Caribbean courses: 103/104 or 104/114 combination courses are available ANY Saturday to Saturday, aboard a chartered boat out of the US Virgin Islands, Antigua, and the Grenadines.
