Our locations

Charlestown Marina, Pier 8, Boston MA

Our Boston office is located at Pier 8, in the beautiful Charlestown Marina – in the heart of historic Boston Harbor. From here we offer most of our sailing courses and sailing clubs.  Entry-level courses are taught within the protected waters of Boston Harbor, whilst advanced course may take you to locations within Massachusetts Bay and beyond.

Sailing in Boston Harbor is truly a unique and learning experience with its volume of commercial and recreational boat traffic, tides/current, aids to navigation, maze of pristine islands to explore, and city skyline to enjoy!

For parking, try Pier 8 and Pier 6, if they are full, try Flagship Wharf parking garage next to the Style Cafe, near Pier 6. Street parking is mostly for residents only, but some places have meters if visiting for shorter amounts of time. Sundays are free.

Safe Harbor Marina, Cowesett, Warwick RI, 02886

Cowesett is located in the heart of picturesque Narragansett Bay. Both Warwick and East Greenwich, RI have extremely active sailing communities and Narragansett Bay is renowned for its dependable winds, numerous scenic and protected harbors.

Our classroom is located in the brick building immediately on your right in the yard. Park in any available spot that is NOT marked as “Chelo’s Restaurant” as you are likely to get towed. We will issue you a parking pass to put on your dash for the duration of the class.

Our location is only 7 minutes off of I-95, 30 minutes from the Connecticut border, 15 minutes from downtown Providence and provides instant access to sailable waters. TF Green airport is only a few miles north of us, so there are plenty of inexpensive hotels within a 10 minutes’ drive or talk to us about sleeping aboard a boat if the option is available.

American Yacht Harbor, Red Hook, St Thomas, US Virgin Islands

Inexpensive, and frequently direct flights are available with most major carriers from all around the US to Charlotte Amalia and then Redhook is a 30 min cab ride, so you quickly feel like you are on vacation.

The Virgin Islands are truly a sailing mecca. Steady trade winds, crystal clear waters, secluded harbors to explore, reefs to snorkel and white sand beaches to enjoy. Famous beach bars, excellent restaurants, happy people, and gorgeous scenery are some of the reasons why these islands are the charter boat capital of the world.

We work with students to create their own itinerary, so every week is a bit different: we can be anchored in a remote cove and cooking aboard, mingling with the charter crowd in more touristy locations or eating ashore at great beach restaurants. Our instructors know the region well, so whatever the itinerary, you will have a fantastic vacation – a mixture of learning, and building confidence but also the fun stuff like snorkeling, swimming, and hiking.
